I'm currently living in paradise with my wife sandie.
Paradise is on the Sunshine Coast in Australia for those who don't know
I garden, I swim, I body surf and boogie board. We have 5 kids - 3 boys and 2 girls; all living away from home.
I'm a greenie and an anarchist and a permaculturist. A fine mixture.
We grow our own fruit and vegies and brew our own cider.
We ride motorised bicycles instead of cars.....the bikes use about 4 litres of petrol every two or three months - a cost of $1 Australian for transport costs.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1....because I can and because I want to
2....contact is nigh
3....more contact with the distributed computer providers may help us to have contact with any ETs
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
