University of Houston graduate with a BS in Information System Technology. I enjoy digital photography, and technology. I like the technology and ideas of BOINC. Being able to share your computer without and the disconnected Internet design are great ideas. I like being able to volunteer my time to help organizations in areas of technology. BOINC gives me another way to help others. I also refurbish old computers and give them to organizations who otherwise couldn't afford computers. In return they let people whom normally couldn't afford or gain access to computers or the Internet.
I really like SETI@home and BOINC. I like having another way to volunteer technology to help others. I like how the creators of SETI@home created BOINC. I like that BOINC works so well now and runs so seamlessly in the background. The disconnected architecture and low bandwidth requirements mean it won't impact my Internet connection, and won't need 24/7 Internet, which is nice.
