| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think Seti@home is a great thing for 2 reasons. One, It is the largest computer network in the worldand it has only cost them about a 1/2 million dollars total. And two, I think we should be searching for extraterrestrial life. I do think it exsists. I don't think we will find any time soon, but we have to keep looking. We humans should send some kind of message. Like, recording someone telling about are planet, and where we are in the universe, and then sending it out.
I think probably the main reason I run SETI@home, is because I want to keep my computer active, and, although my part is very small compared to the whole thing, I can contribute and make a difference. |
