I am from and still live in Upstate NY, 33 years old, Systems Administrator at a vocational academy. Returned Peace Corps Volunteer that was stationed in Armenia. I even ran SETI@home when I was there, which is really something considering I did not live in the capital and internet connectivity was sparse to nonexistent at the time. First started running the program on my computers in 2001 or so while in college.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have joined this project because I don't believe that it's possible to have such a huge universe out there which doesn't support other intelligent life.
