Doug Harman has over 19 year’s experience as a journalist, writer, photographer, and digital camera and technology tester. He has written extensively for a multitude of digital photography magazines and websites, including Amateur Photographer, What Digital Camera, Total Digital Photography, Digital Photographer, PocketLint.co.uk, and fourthirds-user.com; Professional Photographer, Photography Monthly and Digital Camera Buyer.
He’s also the author of two books, the UK’s top selling The Digital Photography Handbook and a pocket guide to better camera phone photography called Snap It, both first published in 2006.
Doug has his own web based photo gallery and shop at: www.dougharman.co.uk and www.photoboxgallery.com/dougharmanphotography respectively. He has also written and presented a digital photography DVD show called, appropriately enough, Doug Harman’s Guide to Digital Photography and teaches clients on how to get more from their digital cameras, improve their photography and their photography technique.
