Profile: Lee

Personal background
My name is Lee wilson and I am 36.
I have always been facinated at what might lie out there in the "final frontier" to be discovered. Who knows waht may open up , a cure for cancer,New alloys or metals that can help aid us in space travel or new civilisations or races of beings som tht may be either advanced or some tht may be like us.
On the medical side it could mean that persons with developmentle dissabillities might have a way of being cured and those that suffer from cnacer might have a cure aswell.

I would also think of us pretty vein to think tht wed be the only species to be alive in the vast countless aray of galaxies that suround us.

I a may be christian but I take the the contex that we are "Created in his Immage" to mean that we are possibly unique in his creation" but I cant totally rule out that there may be life out there.

My only questions is these.
Once we have made contact are ready for the concequences either for better for worse? would we take a feindly act as hostile? i think we in the genrla public might need to learn some galactic manners. i am sure taht there are races out there willing to teach us lol.

I think they might have a sense of humor out there just as some just might be like the "Volcans" on "Star Treck" taht name in its self is awsome to "treck trhough the stars."

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that the SETTI Project is a great study.
I understand that not all of us come from the same religious or finacual back grounds, But the comon ground is this that we want to seek out new life in hopes to better our race and to create a better understanding of who we are and were we might be going.

I run SETTI@home just for the pure curiosity and plus I also understand to an extint that a colective of computers is much better at searching something then a single Super computer not only are those expensive in them selves but they need a way to comunicate and store data aswell.

My only Sugestion is this....
Build a bigger dish lol. but I also understand that is expensive.
