Well I'm from Glasgow, always have been and always probably will be!
As for my age I'm 36 and drive trucks for a living (Dangerous goods to all the hospitals)It pays well!. Also with the TA RLC(Royal Logistic Core)(called the Home Guard in the USA,I think!). As I've done my time in the regular army.(Infantry, for about 6 1/2 years) a bit of a change I know,but i like it!
As for hobbies I like Home Cinema (just done up my spare room as a Home Cinema, 5.1 suround and a 90' screen and lazyboy seat just to top it all off. Took a while to do it!
Also I love the old commodore 64. I have 5 of them and they all work well. got 2 of them on E-bay! Hard to believe that good gameplay can exist in a machine which has only 64K (not MB) which is less than most E-mails. Freaks me out to this day!
Music wise I love Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Metallica. and a little of everything else weird or what!
Also I love Airifles as ive done a few projects of my own to modify them (Very legal as i know the laws in The UK!)
To to end it my favourite saying is "Go forward in reverse"

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1: I'm sure there is life out there (somewere) who knows!
2: Personally I think it's a great idea that the public can help in some way to help discovering probably the most important question of all time.
3: perhaps larger packets of information to process. And to have a better message board such as an introduction to new members so they don't feel lost and don't bother to continue to contribute to SETI in future. |
