Personal background |
My name is Lenny Sherman and I'm a 57 year old male, living in San Francisco, CA. I'm presently on disabilty benefits but was employed as a switching technicion for the local telephone company until 1994. I'm interested in most scientific subjects, but especially in astronomy and exobiology. I've had several "close encounters" (seeing unidentified flying objects) but never had one of the "third kind" (meeting the UFO's occupants). I really don't know WHAT was seen flying in the upper atmosphere but who knows?
I wish all of you the best in your endevors.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I would like to leave SETI@home running, but it REALLY slows my P-4 Celeron down too much for this paltry machine to do ANYTHING else effeciantly. Eventially, I'll get a more powerful processor motherboard and increase the RAM (from 800MB to 2GB or more) which, I'm sure, will let SETI@home take less recorces. Until then, I'll have to run your program intermittantly, when no other large (memory-wise) applications are running.
I believe that SETI is the only way at the presant time to explore the possibility of intelligent life elsewhere in our vast universe. At this time, I'm not in a position to support your effort finantially, but I'm with you 100% in spirit.
