I'm disabled/retired at age 44 and love to spend time on my computer. I need something serious for this computer to do other than surfing the net and playing games. So now I am belonging to the best team crunching WU's today in seti.USA and having fun crunching WU's at the same time.
seti.USA is a great team not just because they are getting results, but because they like to have fun doing it, are an active group who actually interact with each other and are truly dedicated to the science via the desire to produce completed work units at a pace that may actually allow the science to be completed in our lifetime.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because the universe is too large to believe that we are the only life form like ourselves to exist. With that in mind and a computer that can contribute to the science while at the same time serving my useless needs, I am now running SETI@home.
Did I mention that I crunch with the best team in the science as a member of SETI.USA! Join today! http://www.setiusa.net/
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
