I have several computers and thought what a great way to use them when they are sitting idle or...when anything else is going on. The SETI program doesn't seem to interfer with anything.

I know they are out there. I've had a "close encounter" of my own.
I think it would be arrogant of us here on earth to think we were the only ones out there.
I don't know how or when we will discover life elsewhere, but I feel someday, somehow, we will. I can't see any reason we shouldn't send a beacon into space. All the movies and "stories" shouldn't all be believed. Do we want to harm any alien that we should come across??? I don't. So, why should they want to harm us? |
