| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have just recently started running Seti again (no particular reason to have stopped, I think the PC crashed....). I think its a great use of the idle time of home PC's. I was also glad to see other orginizations looking to use the idle time for their projects as well. I run Seti as I have always had a fasination for space, and the possabilities it presents. My hat off to all the top users... and to the non top users as well. Every unit worked helps, and the proverbial drop in the bucket has alot of weight when its billions of drops at a time!
Suggestions? The only one I can think of is share the BOINC manager with your friends who are just letting their PC's sit around being bored. |
