Profile: Viktor Åström

Personal background
My name is Viktor Åström and I\\'m from Sweden. I work as a network technician here in Lycksele (town with ~10k citizens) which resides in the northern parts of the country. As of hobbies they consist of "nerding" some game on my computer or going to the gym (figure that for a nerd like me heh?). Besides that I work my ass of trying to make the network here as good as I can.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I used to run SETI@home on a dedicated P133 Linux Debian machine while I studied at the institution in Skellefteå (a division of Luleå technical university). The machine ran for 3 years, sadly the account seems lost. So I made a new one, this time dedicating a P200MMX with 80Mb EDO RAM for the project :)
It's not much of a computer to dedicate, but hey, it's something atleast.

I run SETI@home to help with finding the little green men ;)

The only suggestions I have would be to have a more weekly update on how the search goes, in laymans terms. So average people like myself can understand if something is happening.

Other than that I wonder when the "Allen Telescope Array" will start collecting data for the SETI@home project.
