Personal background
---
I am 21, male, and live in Lake St. Louis Missouri.
I am A+ Certified in computers and am working on getting a part time job to help with college and fund my upcoming trip to Japan.
My hobbies are playing Xbox, reading scifi and fantasy books, anime(mostly the comical ones though I do like a good number of the more serious ones to), and obviously working with computers(This includes of course lots of LAN parties!!).
Unlike so many geeks in this day and age, I retain the age old sterotype of being perpetually single. ;P |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
---
Do I really think my system is going to pick find a signal from aliens or something? Realisticly no. But there is always that little voice that says what if and I hate for my systems abilities to go to waste while I just surf around or sleep, so I run BOINC with almost all the partner projects attached and am left happy in the knowledge that my system is working away trying to help and make things better for in one way or another.
