Personal background
I’ve been using, programing, building and setting up computers since 1981.

My first computer was a Tandy Color Computer with 4096KB Ram plugin into a T.V. and a cassette tape drive to save programs and files. Go ahead and laugh but I still got itand It still works.

In 1990 I switched to IBM Computers and went through all CPU versions, i.e. i286, i386, i486 using Microsoft Dos.

In 2000, after living in computer hell using Windows95 and Windows98, I became a Microsoft Certified Network Administrator on Windows NT 4.0 (Server & Workstation). I needed to know what makes Windows so problematic. (It’s Dos)

I got a Mac 2.0GHz Dual Power PC G5 with Panther in 2003. And I’ve never happier with a Computer. Tiger smokes on it but Leopard slow.

So I got the new 2008 3.2GHz Dual Quad-Core (8-core) Intel Xeron Mac Pro with Leopard. Man what a screamer.

Currently I work in a music store maintaining 2 Servers (main/backup) with Windows 2003 and 10 Work Stations with Windows XP.
