Hi I'm Serge, from Melbourne Australia. I work for Invizage (a full subsidiary of Sensis/Telstra). I have been running this program since it first was advertised on a BBC show back in 2005.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti because i love to think that i can be involved and provide help with such a program ...
I have been interested in this sort of space/radio telescope info since I was little as I've always believed there are other forms of live out in the vast and immense universe of which we're part of.
My only suggestion is that some sort of feedback is sent to the participants, maybe some information about how running seti on our home pcs is helping the overall project.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
