Personal background
Sir James Christopher Fourie…
I'm a software developer and graphic designer living in Johannesburg South Africa.
Currently employee for Lancet Laboratories (Pathology company)

Here's my webpage - got pics and stories of my fun-tastic life...

I started using SETI@home way back when it first launched - back then I had a 486 DX4-100 running at about 112Mhz and a Pentium 200MMX running at 225Mhz. AHH, The good ol' days of over-clocking, back when every single Mhz counted and a great resolution was 1024x768. :)
My current cheap-ass AMD 1.8Ghz at home is running perfectly stable at 2.2Ghz... (the increase alone is more than the combined processing power of my first two computers) and it runs at an almost constant 39 Degrees Celcius. My, how technology advances! :D

for those of you that wanna chat...
Skype me: AcidCow or .:Sir Jamez Christopher:.
My Current Status:

(In my opinion, the overly-commercialised MSN sucks hairy horse balls!)...

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do I run SETI@Home?
-Why not?! this PC goes to waste each night and I'd love an L.G.M. as a penpal. ;)

My Views about the project?
-Not sure if it's a good idea to go looking for life that's more advanced or intelligent, but then again how intelligent could it have been to build a steam powered plane with cloth wings?! Interesting none-the-less!

Suggestions?
-Yeah! More control over the Graphic display...
-and customizeable banners...
-and skins...
-and stuff!
