| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have heard of SETI for some time but only recently decided to get involved. My main reason was that I could not find any intelligent life where I work, so decided to look into outer space!
I run SETI from my work PC only, play on line games on my home PC such as eve-online.
I suppose like everyone involved in SETI, it’s the thrill of the possibility of being the first to find a signal.
I just feel with the vast size of the universe, which is really just inconceivable to humans, it is impossible for us to be alone. I feel we look at the universe in the wrong way, by its size. There are probably alien species who view the universe entirely differently to us.
