I've been into computers since I was a kid (my first machine was a Commodore 64). I now build my own. Found seti@home in June of 1999 and have been crunching ever since with some unfortunate breaks due to moving around alot. I like the idea that there is someone who is looking for ET and allows me to participate as I believe that aliens do exist. If they don't, then as it has been said before, it's an aweful waste of space.
