| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think it is a no brainer as to whether, what we call,
Extra Terrestrial life exists. For so long man has had the
preconceived notion that we are alone in this universe, or
that we are the most super of all beings. Until recently
that is!! Every one of us that is registered with this site
realize that we are not alone. We have woken up to ourselves
and the lies that governments all over the world have been
spinning us for years and have seen that, to believe that
we are the only beings/superbeings in the universe, is the
most naive and irresponsible thing that humanity could ever
think. It is a given that there are other races out there
that easily surpass us technologically and morally, there
has to be. This is a huge Universe and we are but a speck of
dust within it so it is feesible that what happened with us
has happened with other worlds too. True, there is a problem
regarding the demeanor of these other beings, are they
malevolent or are they benevolent? I am sure one day we will
find out......either way!!
There have been strange sightings in the sky going back
thousands of years. Look at some of the great artistic
pieces that depict a biblical scenes and the such like. They
could have been painted by different people but they all
have the same fundemental pieces. A halo around the heads of
Christ and other biblically important people (mainly the
good and the just), yet there is nearly always an object in
the sky. It may be a comet of some sort, it may be artists
plagurising their colleagues ideas, but maybe, just maybe it
might be some sort of UFO. Who's to say that the timelines
for different races are the same? Why would they be? It is
totally possible for alien races to have visited us on some
forgotten shore in time.
I am not stating that they exist or not, all i am stating is
that it would be completely naive for the human race to go
on thinking that they are the superior beings in the
Universe.
