The school is getting behind the program with the computer lab running SETI, Einstein and Rosetta. Eventually we will be running 50 to 60 2.80 Dual processor Dell computers on the various projects. The idea is to take students to the computer lab and show them what can be accomplished in studing the universe and science. We will also use this to show how a Team can work together to move ahead.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Just want to be a part of the project. As a Science Teacher anything that can capture the imagination of the students is always a good thing. Plus who knows maybe one of our computers will find the first evidence of other living things in the universe or prove Einsteins theory or crack the code on amino acids. Get your school and team together and process.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
