Profile: Birger

Personal background
I am male born i Bergen, Norway in July 1953
I live and work in Oslo as an special adviser for the visual impaired and rehabilitation in the Labor Department.
I have always been interrested in the Question: Is there Life out there?
I believe there is, and I have for many years been a member of the "old" Seti@home project, but alas I lost my pasword, so I therefore lost all my years of accumulated hours of searching. At least I have the dipomas though.
I read a lot of SF books and follow Discovery Channel quite often, since these inputs are important to me.
I am educated in musical teaching - classical giutar - but I work mostly with computers now and help other people with visual impairment with special computer equipment for the blind and people with low eyesight.
I have low eyesight too, but this does not stop me for using the Net or searching for Extra Terrestrial Life.

I live in the hope that the Question will be answered in my lifetime.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I have done this for may years, with a pause. The project interrest me very much, and I want to contribute to find the Answer.

2. It is a good project. In my point of wiev the Human Race sholud not put itself at the centre of the Universe and call itself superior to everything created, but look for others in order to expand and share knowledge.

3. Find Them!! :-)
