As a science and astronomy enthusiast, despite being a financial analyst in São Paulo - Brazil, I loved the idea to help cientists in their projects.
I am 27 years old, love Star Trek (that is why I joined Picard team) and speak 4 languages (portuguese, english, german and spanish). |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I joined SETI@home by friends indications in 2002, as I am astronomy fan since childhood. I liked the idea of helping analysing data with my PC.
Unfortunately my PC broke and I left the project for a long time as I started to use shared computers at home and at the office. Now I am back with a new account and also joined another project (Einstein@home).
My favourite thing about SETI@home is the plug-in for one of my favourite astronomy softwares: Starry Night Backyard (that I also have since 2002). It always amazes me to see in the space projection the package that my computer is currently working on for SETI. |
