Personal background
Harry has an extensive background in Computer Software Engineering including designing and developing major special purpose data base applications, Java language applications, and web site design and implementation. Harry is retired from the U.S. Navy (LCDR), and has been a Test & Evaluation Engineer and Software Developer since 1983. Harry is now "semi-retired", but continues to develop and maintain web sites for selected customers, and provide inexpensive computer consultant services for home computer users.

Harry is a Leader of On Track On Line, a trains web site and internet community, including AMTRAK® Travel Tips. He answers frequent questions about trains and rail travel. For about 10 years he also provided San Diego tourism information on Prodigy® and Compuserve®.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI is perhaps the most important project of it's type in existance. Confirmed evidence of other sentient life in the universe will be the most momentous occasion in the history of humanity.
