I run SETI@home because I'm fascinated by the search for and inevitable discovery of extraterrestrial intelligence, I love the concept of a community of shared computing power, donated for altruistic aims.
I hate to see wasted computing cycles running some pointless eye-candy, ie wasted energy. |
