Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I just built a new computer and it would be a shame to waste those extra CPU cycles and all that computing power when I'm not using it. I want to believe, but what are the odds that the aliens are using 1.4 GHz, or whatever the frequency is that SETI is using. I'm sure we're not alone in the universe, but my expectations of this project are not to "find ET".
