Profile: Henroids

Personal background
Well let’s see. I am a humanoid from the third planet you call Earth, in your solar system.

On a more serious note. My name is Henry from the Detroit Michigan USA area. I got this great DSL line in my house powering three computers and well. They just sit around most of the day doing nothing (people need to sleep you know) so I thought what a better thing to do then to look for ET and maybe find someone who may understand me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?

Yes it does!

If so, when and how will humans discover it?

Humans Won't until ET is ready for us to discover. Then why am I helping you? You may ask? I’m human I may be wrong, and I hope I am.

What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?

Benefits new technologies and cures for disease and such. Dangers, technologies and the global fear we are not alone.

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?

Yes

If so, what information should we send?

Don’t know what ever we send could be taken many ways. What ever we send I just hope who ever receives it has an open mind to the facts of human evaluation and human drive.

Why do you run SETI@home?

See if in some little way I could (can) help the cause

What are your views about the project?

More power to you just wish I could help out more (I'm poor don’t ask for cash)

Any suggestions?

Nope.
