| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think it's a great idea that SETI exists, if for no other reason than to keep alive the idea that life does exist outside the Earth. My thoughts are that we're here, so life CAN exist, therefore it MUST be elsewhere!
There's no guarantee that SETI will find anything, but if there's a 1 in a googleplex chance of finding THEE most important discovery in the history of mankind by doing something as simple as using my computer that's on 24/7 anyway, it's worth taking!
