I'm a guy born in 1978. My interests are computers, reggaemusic, religion/gnostic thoughts, beers and more. I have not like many others been interestered too much in space since I was a child. It was something that has come sneaking up on me. And I i'm very interested in the SETI project - but do not know much about it in general. And that is why I joined the SETI@home project - where I can contribute and learn.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that the SETI@home project is very interesting since it give the ordinary person a change to contribute to something bigger. The lack of information coming out from the SETI@home project is a downside though - but it's alright - when someone strikes gold - we all are going to know about it!
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
