I grew up with watching ET and Contact and I joined amateur HAM club for some reason.
I guess that was because of the scene from the movie Contact.
My favorite writer and scientist is Carl Sagan, unfortunately he is not here anymore.
I believe there exist extraterrestrial intelligence and I want to meet them if I can.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
First, I have joined this project in around 2000. I read an article about this project and joined this research just because of the curiosity.
I hadn't run the application for a while and now I am running this application again because I have a feeling that we will see the other intelligence someday.
That's the reason why I rejoined this research.
