Personal background
I am a USAF Veteran and was in PMEL from 1976-1982.Was stationed at Dyess AFB, TX and Andersen AFB, Guam. Now a ham radio operator and Xerox Copier Technician living in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. My son is in Security Forces and is back safely from Iraq. He is currently stationed at Whiteman AFB, Missouri.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think the universe is SO LARGE that there has to be something out there, somewhere. It just seems strange to me that we are focused on a small bandwidth of 1 or 2 GHz for our search. What if E.T. is on a much higher or lower frequency ? I do think this is a worthy and noble cause.
