I am a thirty something software developer (business & web). Besides my 4 year old daughter, my passion is the weekend rock band I have with my wife and some friends

As far back as I can remember, I have been interested in astronomy. My little girl can name all of the planets and likes to watch TV shows about space with me. Perhaps she will be the one to make contact someday. I am positive that
there is other life out there. I don't know whether we will ever have confirmation of that but SETI seems to be the best way to try. Seeing SETI@home running on my system is a constant reminder to me of the glory of the universe and of the fascinating discoveries to come (sentient or not).
