| I am 25, a computer engineer at CalPoly in San Luis Obispo, CA. Also, I will be minoring in Physics and Mathematics. I just recently got out of the USAF as a ICBM electrical technician. I plan on going to grad school in a couple of years when I graduate. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1) Well, I have a computer and often it is sitting there idle. I guess I was first intrigued by the idea of 'helping the cause' but now I really want to know.
2) What a good idea. I am glad that people (like myself) around the globe can help, even a little, sort through all this information. Supercomputer time is very expensive and projects like this probably do not have the funding to afford such time, thus SETI@Home is a great alternative.
