Personal background
Livermore CA I work as Physisist for LLNL. From home run a robotic telescope web site http://eyes-on-the-skies.org which allows you to view the sun through a hydrogen alpha filter. You can watch solar flare and hydrogen gas cloud and surface flares in real time using your browser. You can point the telescope yourself to other parts of the solar image. I donate full disk images to archives found at http://www.spacew.com/sunnow/ where from time to time you can see images from my system.

Interested in nuclear science I am paid to support the fusion research program at LLNL with my experties in optics design, experiemnt and modeling.

I donat some computer time to Seti since I enjoy coloboration on interesting science topics. Seti, related to astronomy, keeps me looking up.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The one problem with seti on the web is it does not have a way to make face to face voice contact with anyone of common interest. Have I missed the obvious signal?
