Profile: Steve

Personal background
Well.. I'm Steve, from Leicester, England, and am 18 years old, but already written abook on Extra Terrestrial life. Shame it hasn't been published though! Included are possibilities about Galactic civilisations, possibilities that we are not indiginous to planet Earth at all, and suggestions I feel are too radical to share with many! Apart from my fascination with the search for alien life, and wanting to contribute to the generation that finds it, I like strategy game, problem solving, challenges and am witty, humerous, have 3 A levels and 9 GCSEs. Currently sutdying at University, I spend most my time on SETI @ home, when I am not round at my girlfriend's! I am also current champion of www.ambroid.co.uk (online worldwide war game) and am on course to reclaim my title, and win my second season in a row. (GUNFLASH)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI @ home as I feel compelled to help in answering the biggest question we as a race have ever faced; are we alone? I feel very strongly towards to project, and would happily dedicate all my studies to finding alien life, one day hopefully! I would like to work more on the project, offer my theories and more, proposing the view that one of the reasons we haven't found life yet is not only due to our ancient technology (compared to whatever civilisations are out there, Earth is a relatively new planet after all) and maybe down to others' fears of what we might find if we look too far afoot.
