I'm a software engineer working for the Trans-Lux corporation. I have been involved with the Seti@home project since it was in original beta-testing (and even sent a few work-units with the beta testing program for the pre-1.0 release of Seti@home) For those that remember, my stats got reset with everybody else with the big stat reset when version 1.0 came out.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I find it totally unlikely that we are compleatly alone in the Universe (or Multiverse).
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
