#1) to participate in a grand adventure with like-minded individuals who realize that collectively our intelligience gathering capabilities are magnified exponentially.
#2) this is an experiment that , interestingly enough, even if it ultimately fails (after millenia of se arching) will provide interesting, tangible, and perhaps serendipitous results.
#3) expanding the search to include all possible communication avenues such as lasers, masers, gravitational waves, dna encryption etc. and think tanking what our agenda as a species is before et is detected. |
