Personal background
I am an Australian, currently 35 years old, and I work for a great Software Company that specialises in Retail / Stock Management.

I am a sucker for good scifi, and get a kick out of all things non-fiction space related.

Recently founded a SETI team for our company, and we have also got our servers running SETI at work outside of hours.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home to help search for ET... The screen saver isn't half bad either. :-)

I think the project is a great way to use idle CPU time, and i think sooner or later we will have a better idea of what is around us. Even if we do not find anything, at least we have actually been looking and can say that.

I would like a way to see graphically where the signals i have been processing came from, and perhapps an overall indication of how much the project has processed vs what it has to go (again graphically).

I would also like to see the BOINC software work on SBS (ie Primary Domain Controllers).
Plus a way we could deploy it ready setup on machines we deploy to our clients.
Most are retail customers and whilst servers are on 24 hours, they are idle outside of trading hours.
Soooo many CPU's sitting idle we could be using, and they would mostly get a kick out of knowing that their server is part of a community network analysing signals from outer space.
