The Seti program is an opertunity to realize an old boyish dream I have about beeing in on a serach for ETL.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The major quest for life "out there" is something that I have always wanted to be a part of. I think by contribute to this project I can in fact realize, (thogh only in a small perspective with my computer) this dream. I think this project is good way for all to contribute to the search , and maby one day ..who knows??? We will get the answer we are looking for. The idea that life should only exist here on earth sounds to me a bit morbid really..We are only a tiny little fraction of the space as we now it.
But are we really ready for meating them? ..
