Hello, I am Nik Croft. Currently I reside in Sterling, Kansas. I am twenty nine years old as of December the sixteenth, two thousand and six. My occupation lies within the realm of construction. As a hobby I frequently educate myself on various aspects of all that is technology related. As for anything else - I would not imagine it to be of any greater interest to those of you reading the information already provided here. Yet here are a few additional items. I read frequently, books - not email or web postings, though I often find myself preoccupied with scanning through them. Poe, Bradburry, Anne Rice - books of fantacy, horror science fiction. I study the world I live in for the beauty in all that I see. I dislike monitary exchange in that I feel it only removes us from that which is truely important. I enjoy most music. I believe it to be impossible that we are the only form of intelligent life in what is believed to be a vast and limitless universe. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

My reason for the use of the SETI@home program is to assist in the efforts of those who, like me, believe in the highly probable theory of the human race Not being the center of the universe and sole purpose of it existing. I view the project with simple expectation, in that one day a single distinctive signal will be recognised and further be proven to have not originated from any local source. My only suggestion would be to whom ever might be reading this that is not alreay running SETI@home to please, do so. |
