My name is Mark, I live in Aberdeenshire in the north east of Scotland and am 24. I've travelled all over the world and seen many amazing things along with meeting new people and different cultures. I served in the Royal Navy for just under 5 years which allowed me to travel the globe, had I not joined the navy I wouldn't have been able to go to all these different countries. I am now self employed as a screen printer but want to go back to sea asap, therefore I'm looking for opportunities to return to sea on merchant vessels.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am running seti@home as I am on the internet quite often downloading music and other files so I thought why not share some of my pc resources to put to some use while I download or play games.
I heard of seti before but thought I needed some specialist knowledge before I could participate but once I actually looked at the site itself I found out that anyone could participate I thought why not give it a try.
I don't believe that we are the only life in the universe but do not believe for one second that we have been "visited" by aliens in the past or will be any time in the near future.
