Distributed computing is community contribution at its best. I cooperate with the SETI@home project and other projects as I wish to make a valuable contribution to society. I applaud the ideals of research undertaken for the common man with no thought of profit for the individual, and therefore am pleased to volunteer the processing power of my pc.
I would love to see how many gaussian signals, pulses and triplets my account had found, even if they have all been rejected as RFI. |
