Personal background

I am a 52 year old disabled fireman from Georgia (USA) after 26 years on the job. I was also trained as an electronics tech. and enjoy building, repairing, and using computers. I also enjoy taking my 91 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 (GTO) to car shows which is my only other hobbie.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I know there is life out there, we just have to find it. I have used seti@home off and on for 4 years and hope to stay on this time. I run SETI because I believe we need to satisfy our own curiosity about other life forms on earth and in space. SETI is not all we can do but it is a good start.
