I thought, "Why not?"
It was a b*gger to install on my machine - see the messagboard for more information. But it seems to be running now. I think there needs to be more user friendly information about what it's all about and how it works as otherwise new volunteers could be put off - I nearly was.
The program ought to be modified so that it runs on multiple user machines (XP) that have limited accounts. This was my problem - it wouldn't without a lot of tweaking at my end. If MSN messenger can work on my PC (much to my disapproval, but I have a teenage daughter ;-) then so can BOINC. IMHO. |
