| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

extraterrestrial life does defiantly exist, but it may not be intelligent life as we know it. intelligent life must excist in many corners of the vast universe. but i presume different races would be at different stages of awareness. and if we are the oldest (someone has to come first) then we might at this time be alone. im hoping that is not the case though. cause i want a light sabre so bad.. lmao.. and force powers would also be cool. mr lucas has had a greatr affect on my life. im 30 and still dream of being a jedi knight. fighting for all the noble causes.
think humans will discover life when either we or they have the ability to traver beyond the known (proven) limits of travel. but first contact will probally be via a seti type system.
dont sign up to this kill em all hysteria about alien life forms. just because we have grown from combat and war fare, does not mean that they have. they might be totally war free. the benefits of contact are gaining huge leaps in evolution overnight.
my hope for the future is why i run seti@home,think the project is a very worthwhile project. |
