Hi - My name is June and I'm a Civil Servant UK. I'm married to Peter and will be celebrating our 14th wedding aniversary this year.
I just thought I would like to do something useful for the planet, so running SETI@home seamed appropriate. I hope that one day my contribution will discover something and hopefully it will be useful.
I've actually been running SETI@home for some time, but only just created this account I've completed 33 Units and total CPU time has been 925 hrs. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI@home because I like the thought of doing something adventurous without leaving my living room. A bit like watching an action movie on a 48 inch tv without the noise.
If we actually come up with something useful it will have been worthwhile, whether our technology is up to the job yet, well the proof of the pudding as they say....
You could make the screen saver a bit more understandble for those of us who only have a lay mans knoweldge of what we are running, data is a wonderful thing but only if you are able to interpret it! |
