I am a J2ME programmer. I work 15 hours per day and 7 days a week. The interesting thing is that you have to face different system and make the same thing works on them. Kind of like asking Michael Johnson to run 100m in 10sec and also your grandma. Also the devices are buggy, it could turn off by itself when it is pushed to the limit. The JVM die, the system die. Doesn't really make sense but happens.
