Hi, I'm a 27 years old guy from Cali - Colombia. I'm a dentist and right now I'm studying health administration. I love study and knowledge. Since I was a child I used to watch the Carl Sagan television series “Cosmosâ€. Thanks to Carl Sagan I have been an astronomy and Science lover. Many things have happened from then, I have read many books from Carl Sagan and other authors, I joined an astronomy group in my university and I have surfed the Internet many hours looking for cool stuff. Someday I found the Seti@Home project, and immediately became interested. I remember “Contact†and I dream about the day we (yes WE!) found a signal. That will be a glorious day, no doubt.
Hola, tengo 27 años y vivo en Cali - Colombia. Soy un odontólogo y actualmente estudio administración en Salud. Me encanta el estudio y el conocimiento. Desde que era pequeño veÃa la serie "Cosmos" de Carl Sagan. Gracias a Carl Sagan he sido un amante de la astronomiay la Ciencia. Muchas cosas han pasado desde entonces, he leÃdo muchos libros de Carl Sagan y otros autores, me incorpore al grupo de astronomÃa de la universidad y he navegado por Internet muchas horas buscando cosas chéveres. Un dÃa encontré el proyecto "Seti@Home" e inmediatamente me interesó. Recuerdo a "Contacto" y sueño con el dÃa en que encontremos (si ENCONTREMOS!) una señal. Ese será un dÃa glorioso sin duda. |

I believe in extraterrestrial life of course, but I also believe in the improbability that we found something and the greater improbability that someone out there find something from us. Anyway hope is the last thing we lose. For me is very nice to be part of the project and help with my PC’s. I do it in memory of Carl Sagan, a great man that have teach me so much.
Claro que creo en la vida extraterrestre, pero también creo en la improbabilidad que encontremos algo y de la mayor improbabilidad que encuentren algo de nosotros. De todas formas la esperanza es lo último que se pierde. Para mi es muy bacano hacer parte de este proyecto y ayudar con mis computadores. Lo hago en memoria de Carl Sagan, un gran hombre que me ha enseñado mucho. |
