I served from 1969, as a seaman recruit, to 1989, retiring as a CWO3 (F and S). I live now in the Pacific Northwest were I was born on a ranch/farm and with the love of my life, the girl I married 29 years ago while at Training Center Petaluma. I serve today with the USCG Retiree Council Northwest and the USCG Auxiliary. The friedships I made during my twenty years of active service are most dear. I did not love all the officers I served with, but I love the service and what they are devoted to doing.
