Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't think we will find anything through the means of analyzing radio signals to be honest. Seeing as we've only had the technology for 6 or so years it wouldn�t be farfetched to think we've missed our window of opportunity, or maybe it hasn't arrived yet.
Besides if there is a vastly superior race out there then what would they want with the simple human? I mean think about it for all the microprocessors in the world we still can't be arsed (or have the means) to explore out of our own solar system. However it would be a great shame if it ended up like Independence Day without out the fighting back bit. I guess we owe it to our imaginative minds to search but for now I'm content with my pc running 15 degrees hotter than normal to satisfy my mind.
