I am Herman Horn, from South Africa.
I was born in 1963 and will turn 45 on January 19.
I am an attorney (defence council) of proffession and deals with what in other jurisdiction be known as capital offences such as rape and murder. In South Africa the death penalty was abolished by the Consitutional Court shortly after South Africa became a Rechstaat in 1994.
I am in a long time relationship with Shane and we have been sharing our lives for the last 12 years. I am a bear and he a chaser.
I read quite a lot but that can no longer be described purely as a hobby because it is mostly work related.
I am a radio amateur (ham) with my South African callsign being ZS5LH - Zulu Siera number 5 Lima Hotel, I like working RTTY so keep a look out for me.
From being caught up in radios and signal travelling this way and everywhere it wasnt a very difficult jump to becomming a SETI member as I have always believed that the universe is just to big for us to be the only intelegent liveform to exist.
So I hope we find the voice that will determine our future and that they when they arrive in this part of the galaxy has enlightenment as there primary objective... and may this happen before we are all killed by radio active waste.
